this camera does what I need it to do and is so easy to operate. Wish I had had it years ago!

3 Stars So far, not impressed
I bought this flip camcorder battery pack for my daughters flip video. I like not eating up AA batteries. The literature that came with the battery said that when it was charged, the red light on the front of the camcorder would go off. I left the thing plugged into my computer for 12 hours and the light never went off. I let it charge like that twice and neither time did the light go off indicating that it was fully charged. Now, don’t get me wrong. The battery does work, but I don’t know if it lasts as long as it’s supposed to or if it is fully charging. I don’t like guessing games. So far it has underwent three charges and still works ok. My daughter has not said anything about it going out quickly, so it is just ok for now.

Really dont like this camera. Shakey video makes it hard to watch . Cant really tell when the battery is fully charged. The instructions say the red light will go out when it is charged but the one I have the red light blinks. Nothing in the instructions say what to do with a blinking light. Charges some times other times it does not.

2 Stars Good battery; If you can charge it!
They overheat when charging; At least they do for me. The one that came with the camera and the 2nd one I purchased here. I would not buy this even for $12. I bought it when it cost more and wish I had just purchased some good rechargeable AAs instead. They are a much better and can be used for more than just your Ultra HD camera. As long as you have a Flip camera that can use them that is.

The battery pack that I bought did not take a charge. Tried it numorous time. My background is electronics, and I think that they were just old.

1 Star I paid the money and learned the lesson, but you don’t want to repeat it!
I have paid my money and learned my lesson, but I do hope you don’t repeat my mistakes. They delivered the part quick but it is not the same battery charger as shown on the website. There is not even any manufacturing country on it. I used it once and it was broken. I tried various ways to contact the brilliant store but I got no response back from them so far. Yes, it is cheap but it is not worthy of your money either. I think Amazon should also set a guideline for all these “cheap” equivalent components. Actually, they are not cheap while including shipping and handling.

This charger works in your home or in the car. It is a great price, and works very well with my camcorder battery. And you can’t beat the 3 year warranty. Great little charger!
