5 Stars Bona Fide Panasonic DMW-BCF10 camera battery
This is the real thing; a bona fide Panasonic brand camera battery. It is more expensive than the off-brand replacement batteries, but it should work seamlessly with all Panasonic cameras that use this model battery. I previously purchased a much cheaper off-brand battery, Maximal Power DB PAN DMW-BCF10 Secured Digital Camera Replacement Battery for Panasonic DMW-BCF10 (Black), but my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 14.1 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 4.6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 2.7-Inch LCD (Yellow) displayed “THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED” message after 4 seconds or being turned “ON”. Apparently, the Panasonic cameras will recognize off-brand batteries and will not accept them in an effort to protect us, the dumb consumers, from fires and explosions caused by off-brand batteries.
I am not happy that I have to pay a premium for this brand-name battery, but it seems to be the only battery that will work with my Panasonic camera (unless, of course, you hack the camera’s firmware).

Because this purchase was not directly from Amazon, this pricey little item did not qualify for free shipping. It would have from Amazon. Shipping is very important for us in Hawaii.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. When taking videos with my new digital camera, it is great to have a charged spare battery so I don’t have to worry about the battery charge running out.
5 Stars Misleading link led to wrong purchase
I was attempting to purchase a spare battery for my new Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS3. I noticed the “Amazon ” People who bought this camera also might want to purchase the following…. Well I added the expensive, recommended battery on their link to my basket. Well the recommendation turned out to be wrong and now I have a battery that is too large.

Purchase this as a spare for our Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25. Arrived on time and works fits fine. Hardest part was making sure it was the correct battery for our camera.

Pros:
-the size is fit for my Sony DSC W370
-got strap which you can use to hang around your neck
-got one small pocket (fit enough to put one extra battery)
-soft material
Cons:
-does not cover the whole camera (about 1″ of hole on each side)
-not much space to put other things
-a bit pricy

2 Stars Camera case is rather small
I bought this camera case for my Sony DSC-W290. The camera fits snugly in the case and the case has a small compartment, which I used to carry my spare battery. Note that I had to insert the spare battery in this compartment before I could put the camera in the case (not vice-versa). The case is well-padded and provides good protection for the camera. But the case is too small to carry other options such as the video playback cable, battery charger and more memory sticks. Also, it would be nice to have a strap for more secure carrying. The only strap is the camera strap which protrudes from the case if you let it.
I would recommend buying a different case if you need to carry such optional equipment. My other Sony camera case does have a long strap and more compartments, and is larger because the camera is an older larger model (DSC-P93). This case can carry all my cables, memory sticks and batteries.

It defeats the purpose of an ultracompact camera. This case if far larger then it needs to be.

I am glad that this battery is still available as it is what I need to keep shooting.It can take long to recharge,so maybe get best charger out there.
5 Stars don’t buy aftermarket
Having used aftermarket (Flashpoint and Ultralast) and OEM batteries in my D200, all I can say is this is the ONLY battery that will give you consistently long battery life. It costs more, but for that you get a battery that charges reasonably fast, holds a charge when stored, and has the longest life. I doubt that crappy aftermarket batteries will ruin your camera like some horror stories imply (never had a problem), but they will ruin your day when they run down too fast, take too long to charge, lose their charge in the camera too fast, or simply never fully charge with the OEM battery charger.
4 Stars Nikon Battery
I bought this Battery as a replacement for a “no-name” version I had earlier. I had just ‘charged’ it up completely. I put the battery in my camera and nothing…absolutely nothing. It appears that these things can go out on you in a moment’s notice. I always keep two on hand and rotate them consistently. You don’t want to out on a shoot and your battery runs out with no backup option. Anyway, I’ve got the new one in and all is well so far.

The battery was shipped promptly and the seller provided very good communications from purchase to receipt. Though it was listed as “used” the quality is as good as “new.” I am very pleased with the whole transaction.
5 Stars Yes – get the Nikon!
My D90′s kit came with 2 batteries, one the official Nikon and the other was some off-brand. The Nikon lasts longer, so yes there is a difference and you will notice. Don’t settle for less. I’ve just purchased a second EN-EL3e for my new vertical grip.

5 Stars Good buy, Great for trail camera battery eaters
I have D-40 Moultrie camera that eats batteries. Once I added this and located in a spot that utilizes the sun well, I have yet to replace the batteries. I made a mount out of a couple of old 2 foot 2×4′s that extends this panel about 2 feet from the tree and faced it south, as I’m in Montana, and it works great. The daily average solar readout gives you good feedback for adjusting this to maximize the solar energy from the sun.
The only complaint that I have is like many others that have written reviews. The 12 volt plug doesnt fit very tight. To overcome this I tucked the cord under the camera straps to help support it.
I recomend this for anyone using a Moultrie camera.

I put this on my Moultrie D40 game camera. The 6 D-Size batteries were lasting about 250 pictures (2 weeks), but after installing this I went for about 700 pictures (6 weeks). I would buy it again.

I got tired of going through all the batteries… it was expensive. The power panels have worked out great! Now, if the Moultrie cameras were just as good.

Well I just got two of these last week. The converter cord doesn’t fit very well on my camera. It slips off very easy. So if a coon or something climbs on the camera it will fall off the camera. I’m looking now to find a different converter cable. Pay this price for something the cord should fit. If something changes I’ll change my review.
5 Stars Works Great
This product will enable you to not have to pop into the woods every few weeks to switch out camera cards or batteries. It is simple to use and adjusts very easy. I do recommend using a small tie-down strap to secure it to a tree. Don’t strap it to tight against the tree because you might put to much stress on the mounting points. I have seen a squirrel sit on my panel while it was fully extended and it did not budge.
The panel comes with a long power cord, so the panel doesn’t need to be right on top of the camera. This aides with positioning the panel to capture more solar energy.
Once you have the panel positioned it will read the amount of solar energy it is collecting at its secured position. Also the panel will calculate the daily and weekly solar data to ensure the panel is positioned to capture the most available solar energy.
