5 Stars They Work
I’m using two of them in my Battery Grip for Canon EOS 550D / Rebel T2i SLR BG-E8.

No complaints.

great battery for canon t2i last longer than the canon battery and a great vendor thememstore

5 Stars Great Buy
I couldn’t see wasting so much money on a Canon battery so I thought I give this one a shot. We’ll I can’t tell any difference in the life between my stock battery. So I have to say it’s worth twice the price.

1 Star MY LP-E8 7.4v DOESN’T CHARGE
I got the battery and put it on the canon charger right away.

The light was blinking – which a lot of you have said you have experienced. But after a full half day charge I put it in the camera and it was totally dead…

Ive tried several things like plugging it back in- taking it off a few times and waiting awhile..it is still an exhausted battery after the “charge”

I don’t know if its the battery or the charger connection. I just ordered a 7.4v battery charger from China..that may charge both of my 7.4V

its frustrating..please comment if you know a trick to them..

4 Stars Great – as a secondary/backup battery
Great secondary battery when you’re out on location. Even though it’s rated 1500mAh, it doesn’t last as long as the OEM. I used it for my t2i and it would drain a newly charge battery in about 20 minutes of video recording use. I also used it without my OS off (IS for Canon lenses) and gained about another 10-15 minutes. Honestly, you can’t blame it. Shooting full HD for 20-30 minutes is good. No problems when shooting photographs. I hate being out on location and no where near an outlet, so I always carry a back up battery. I wouldn’t trust this as my only battery out there, but love it as a back up, just in case my first battery dies before the shoot ends. I recommend it.

4 Stars A little big but….
A little big but all kinds of room to store camera and other camera stuff.

4 Stars Thoughts from a owner with a 7D + Lenses
My star rating reflects only the quality of the bag itself. As to whether everything fits or not, I believe is my responsibility. I got this bag for a 7D with a 17-55mm F/2.8 and a 10-22mm F/3.5-4.5 + both lens hoods and a basic sunpak tripod.

All the above will not fit in the bag if either lens is mounted on the camera. You will have to store the body and lenses separate in the bag to make everything fit. Also, attaching the lens hoods in reverse to the lens for storage will also put the two lenses too close for comfort. Everything has to be taken apart for everything to fit.

That being said, if you own no lens hoods, you can easily get both lenses to fit + a 3rd and maybe even a 4th.

the tripod hang pretty well off the bottom with the straps. I took this bag through a rock cave and even through all the abuse everything survived fine.

I think I will opt for a bigger bag and use this one for my XSi and its two kit lenses. That seems like it will be a better fit.

The overall quality of this bag is good. The clips that holds the bag closed works fine. The two side pockets can comfortably hold 3-4 filter cases (B+W sized cases). My only complaint is the strap system for the tripod, It holds the tripod no problem. It doesn’t slip. However the straps do have enough play to allow the tripod to shift around does get annoying.

Overall, I think I underestimated the size of my gear and got a bag that’s too small for me. Can’t blame Canon for that unfortunately…If anyone has any specific questions for me for want a picture of how I have my gear arranged let me know.

5 Stars Great bag
This bag is a perfect size for my Canon camera and 2 lenses plus some extras.

4 Stars Very Happy!
I got this bag after having to return a bag that I had bought on Amazon that proved to be too small. I am just starting out, don’t have many accessories, and this bag is just perfect! Comfortable, and a great price.

5 Stars Canon gear bag
This bag holds my Canon 1000D and an extra lens very well. The contents fit snug and are protected adequately. It also has room for manuals, chargers, cables, etc. I would purchase again for other cameras.

5 Stars Perfect for a Prosumer
This is my first DSLR, and I am so happy with the purchase. I have wanted a nice camera for years, and I finally had some extra money to make the investment. At $900+, it’s a tad expensive for a casual photographer, but I looked at the purchase as an investment for several years. The image quality is wonderful, and the video is absolutely stunning. Everything in life looks significantly more interesting with this piece of hardware at your side.

5 Stars Awesome Camera…
Wow… Can’t make better decision. I have been in love with this Camera. With 18-55mm and 50mm F1.8 lens it turns out to be the great camera with the price. Video… Wowwww..

5 Stars Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR
I just purchased this camera 7-15 and its the best DSLR for the money! I looked at D70 Nikon’s and they couldn’t touch this.

I bought mine at bestbuy because they had it for $899.00 which is a great deal, also bought the camera bag and the 8 gb of sandisk extreme sd card. This camera takes some amazing photos.

1 Star Overpriced, overhyped, review-manipulated crap that will break soon.
It’s a real turnoff when you drop better part of $1000 on a camera and right out of the box it feels like a cheap plastic toy, like something you’d give to your kid. No nice crisp feel to the selector knob, loose actually, not even as good as my old non-digital 35mm (a Chinon, possibly older than me, but it takes great pictures). Plugged in the brand knew 16gb sd card, didn’t feel like it went in right, like sticking the card into playdough, again, shouldn’t be having these kind of doubts “at this price point.” Oh brother. As for the guy who wrote “…The camera is very small and light. It is not weather-sealed or as durable as some of the more expensive SLRs, but it doesn’t “feel cheap” in my opinion…” Well in my opinion, IT DOES FEEL CHEAP and i’m taking it back tomorrow. But to be fair, i’m sure he’s right about it not being weather-sealed.

Update 7/18/2010: Much happier now, got the Pentax K-7 (weather sealed), better feel and very good pictures. Camera body, plus Pentax 18-55 lens lens cost $926.50 plus shipping. All through Amazon. Perhaps Pentax allocates more resource to product quality than marketing and monitoring of reviews.

5 Stars Rival to 7D
I have a friend that has a Canon 7D and yes that thing is a beast, but this isnt about size. Its about pictures. As far as Im concerned and my friend as well, this camera takes just as good pictures as the 7D. And for half the price. Video takes a little getting used to, but WELL worth it. Im a prof. photog. and this was a big upgrade from my XSi. Well worth the price over the 7D.

Been waiting years to be able to afford the 580EX mk2

I photograph wildfowl at Bosque del Apache in New Mexico in the winter and if you aint’ got a 580 with the X-tender for capturing sunrise and sunset flight of cranes – you aint’ nobody!!

It is a little technical for an old guy but it performs like a jewel!!
