5 Stars great spare
Bought as a spare for a recent trip. Worked wonderfully. Never got either main or spare down to the “low battery” warning. Took plenty of movies and flash pictures, both this and the OEM battery seemed about equal. Very unscientific test, but if you are planning a trip, this will compliment your OEM battery wonderfully.

Dollar for dollar, this battery is just as good as any, if not better! It won’t outperform a Canon battery, but it works well and will definitely get the job done. Save money and buy this battery instead of buying Canon batteries.

5 Stars Great Battery Life!
After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit concerned about how these batteries may stack up next to the canon battery that came with my rebel T1i. I ultimately purchased two of them, because I was expecting them to die relatively quickly and need to be changed more often than the canon battery. It has actually been the exact opposite so far. My canon battery lasts noticeably LESS long than either of the Opteka batteries. Maybe I received two particularly good copies, but for the price I have been more than pleased with these batteries.

5 Stars Great company for batteries and grips
I am very pleased with all products from Opteka. I use the battery grip on my Canon T1i and have had no problems with the batteries. I have shot 300 pictures plus without even loosing one bar. I would recommend both the batteries and the grip to any one.

I bought these batteries for my and my mom’s Olympus cameras. It’s an extra battery to have on had for both of us. Works great. Holds charge well. Very helpful on our vacation to swap out the battery when one dies.

This was the first replacement and we have had no issues with it. It is possible that it doesn’t last as long as the original (as some reviews have suggested), but I can’t be sure. It lasted long enough for us.

I bought LI-42B from Digi Acc, $15 + free shipping,

shipping was very quick, I’ve received it in 4 days from order date.

Actually, it is shipped from Brooklyn, NY. I guess that’s why so quick.

I’m sure I received fake product.

The Digi Acc description says “Brand New Original Battery in Olympus Packaging!!! Ships Fast From NY!!”

Yes, it is brand new, and looks original battery in Olypus package.

However, my first impression was different.

Package was well made, but I felt that it could be imitation product.

Second, when I opened product and compare with my previous LI-42B which came with camera.

The front sticker was almost same, but the back of it wasn’t.

There are some Chinese words, and I found BIG MISTAKE!!

My previous battery said “OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP”,,

and fake one says…”OLYMPUS IMAOING CORP”..

what language is “IMAOING” ???????????

I thought I ordered real one. I want to say don’t get deceived.

I felt bad, it is right to know that buyers should know what they are buying.

However, the product works same as real battery,

just.. I doubt that how many times I can charge and use it.

In my conclusion, the price was cheap, and I got what I paid for..
